Product overview & features
Product detailsClinical Use
4 Goldstein Composite Instrument, Black Non Stick is a composite placement and contouring instrument, built with a wider Goldstein-pattern paddle for bulk composite placement on larger posterior restorations before finer instruments take over the detail work. It handles the delivery and initial shaping stage of a direct composite restoration, moving uncured material into the preparation and establishing the rough contour before a burnisher and carver refine the surface and anatomy.
Design and Handling
The double-ended design puts two complementary working profiles on one handle, reducing how often the clinician needs to switch instruments mid-placement. The black non-stick coating on the working ends is the key feature for composite work specifically: it keeps resin from sticking to the blade and pulling back out of the preparation as the instrument is withdrawn, a problem uncoated stainless steel blades are prone to with modern composite formulations.
SurgiWorld's revamped Composite Instruments range groups placement, plugger, and paddle profiles together so a restorative operatory can build out a complete direct composite kit from one category rather than piecing it together from mismatched individual purchases.
SurgiWorld supplies this instrument to dental clinics, restorative practices, and dental schools across Canada and the USA, backed by fast replacement stock so a worn or lost instrument doesn't leave a gap in the tray setup.
Material and Sterilization
Manufactured from medical-grade stainless steel with a black non-stick coating that keeps composite and bonding material from clinging to the blade during placement and sculpting, fully autoclavable and rated for repeated sterilization cycles.
