HiTeck Limited Lifetime Warranty
HiTeck Medical Instruments provides a limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials or workmanship and failure to meet its published product specifications. “Lifetime” refers to the expected working life of each instrument, not unlimited coverage: the specified periods vary by instrument type from 6 months to 13 years. Instruments not specifically listed in the manufacturer's schedule generally carry a one-year warranty.
Warranty coverage starts on initial delivery. Repairs or replacements do not restart the original warranty period. For an approved claim, HiTeck may repair the instrument, replace it, or refund the purchase price according to its policy.
Warranty Periods by Instrument Type
Use the following manufacturer schedule as a guide. If classification is unclear, contact Dental Solutions Canada with your catalogue number so we can confirm the applicable period before you return anything.

30-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
Separate from the manufacturer warranty, eligible HiTeck instruments carry a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If an instrument does not meet your expectations, you may request an exchange or full refund for any reason within 30 days of the invoice date, subject to HiTeck's official conditions. Keep and provide your original purchase invoice. Please contact Dental Solutions Canada before returning a product so we can help arrange the next steps.
How to Request Warranty or Return Assistance
- Email info@thedentalsolutions.ca with your Dental Solutions Canada order or invoice number, product name, HiTeck catalogue number, a description of the issue and photographs if available.
- Our team will coordinate with HiTeck, including any necessary Return Material Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions. Do not ship a warranty return until authorized.
- Instruments sent for warranty assessment must be appropriately cleaned and sterilized and include the required proof of purchase. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer pays for shipment to the designated assessment facility.
- If the manufacturer approves a warranty remedy, HiTeck handles the repair, replacement or refund and return shipping under its policy.
Coverage Exclusions and Important Conditions
HiTeck excludes normal wear and tear, damage, negligent or improper use, storage, handling or maintenance, damage from excessive heat or pressure, unsuitable chemicals or cleaning methods, unauthorized modifications or repairs, and other conditions listed in its policy. Blade wear requiring sharpening is not a manufacturing defect. Complimentary, used and refurbished items are not covered by the standard warranty.
HiTeck instruments are supplied non-sterile and must be cleaned and sterilized in accordance with the manufacturer's Instructions for Use. Please follow all manufacturer's safety and reprocessing instructions.

This information summarizes HiTeck's manufacturer's policy applicable to eligible Canadian and U.S. purchases on or after January 1, 2025. Any product-specific written warranty or signed agreement takes precedence where applicable. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.
