SurgiWorld – Mini Gracey 1/2 Curette, Narrow Anterior Pockets

Mini Gracey 1/2 Curette is selected when an anterior periodontal pocket is both deep and narrow, a combination where the standard-length Gracey 1/2 blade distends the tissue or cannot maintain contact with the root surface.

The defining feature is a blade 50 percent shorter than the standard 1/2, paired with a longer terminal shank, keeping the same 70-degree cutting edge and blade curvature while fitting into tighter subgingival spaces without stretching the sulcus.

Clinically, the Mini 1/2 is used for scaling and root planing narrow, deep pockets on anterior teeth, typically reached for after the standard 1/2 has been tried and found too long for the site. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
