SurgiWorld – Younger-Good 7/8 Universal Curette

Younger-Good 7/8 Curette is selected for supragingival and subgingival calculus removal where a clinician wants a universal curette curved specifically for the facial and lingual surfaces of posterior teeth.

The defining feature is the double-ended, parallel cutting edge design with a blade curvature shaped for posterior surface adaptation, giving it broader utility than a straight-bladed universal curette while still allowing use on anterior teeth when needed.

Clinically, the 7/8 is used for routine scaling and root planing where the clinician wants one curette that adapts to facial and lingual surfaces across most of the arch, rather than switching between multiple area-specific instruments. Double-ended, medical-grade stainless steel, corrosion resistant, fully autoclavable.
